Jo said “I am thrilled to be a De Beers 2022 to 23 scholar. Since starting my jewellery journey at Morley College, I have expanded my network which now includes fabulous creatives that I’ve met on the courses I've taken. As well as, learning from the experts, jewellery designers and makers, who are always accessible to discuss ideas; correct and pivot me to stretch my concepts. I am already benefiting hugely from my association with Morley College and the scholarship means that I can continue to explore and experiment with the many jewellery courses available at the college. I have so many ideas that I can’t wait to develop, put into action, and share through my craft.”
Jo has been working on an exclusive collection ‘efie’ for mmi3nsa that she designs and handcrafts from her studio in South London, implementing her learnings from disciplines she has learnt from the amazing professionals at Morley College.
